Terms of Service for ekko ImpactPay

Welcome to ekko ImpactPay, provided by Ekko Earth Limited (registered in England and Wales with company number 12338538 and with registered office at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ekko ImpactPay ("we," "us," or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. This agreement applies to all users, including visitors.

ekko ImpactPay processes contributions made to carefully selected environmental projects. We partner with reputable organisations and initiatives that address critical issues such as climate change, biodiversity conservation, and plastic pollution. Our goal is to ensure your contributions support impactful and lasting change.
3. Contributions and Payments
3.1 Contributions: By making a contribution through ekko ImpactPay, you acknowledge that it is voluntary and made with the intent of supporting specific environmental projects. Contributions are not refundable, except as outlined in Section 3.4.
3.2 Payment Methods: We accept a variety of payment methods to facilitate your contributions. You agree to provide a valid payment method and authorise us to charge the specified amount.
3.3 Currency and Transaction Fees: Contributions will be processed in the currency specified on the website. A 20% service fee is charged on all contributions made through ekko ImpactPay. This fee covers the cost of delivering the service and associated impact.
3.4 Minimum Transaction Amounts: There is a minimum transaction amount of 0.40 GBP/ 0.47 EUR/ 0.52 USD.
3.5 Refunds: Contributions are typically non-refundable. However, if a project is cancelled or there is a major issue with the processing of your contribution, please reach out to our support team for help.
4. Environmental Projects
4.1 Project Partners: ekko ImpactPay works with reputable project partners to deliver impactful environmental outcomes. While we strive to ensure projects are effectively managed, we do not guarantee specific results from any contributions made.
5. User Conduct
5.1 Prohibited Activities: You agree not to use ekko ImpactPay for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose. This includes but is not limited to:
- Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive activities.
- Using the platform to promote hate, violence, or discrimination.
- Violating any applicable laws, rules, or regulations.
6. Privacy
ekko ImpactPay does not store personal data. For more information about how we handle any data provided during the payment process, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Ownership: All content on ekko ImpactPay, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of ekko or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7.2 Limited Licence: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable licence to access and use ekko ImpactPay for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 No Warranty: ekko ImpactPay is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
8.2 Exclusion of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, ekko and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or contributions made through it.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ekko, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the platform or any breach of these Terms.
