How it works
When you set your payment terms, you'll see the carbon footprint of your purchase (shown as X kgCO₂e). You will then be invited to make a contribution to cover this carbon impact. Your contribution is split between:

Locally-driven reforestation and nature efforts via TEMA
Marine and coastal conservation via The Turquoise Coast Environment Fund (TCEF)

We estimate your purchase's carbon footprint based on what you bought and how much you spent. Every shop or service is grouped into a category that reflects the typical environmental impact of purchases in that industry. We then use this to estimate the footprint for your transaction.
Reducing your carbon footprint starts with small, everyday choices – like using less energy, choosing sustainable products or cutting down on waste. When reducing isn't possible, you can help balance out your impact by supporting projects that prevent extra emissions or remove carbon from the air, such as clean energy projects or tree planting.
